语的修辞方法

广告英语的修辞方法是根据词、句作用里的一种表达手法,修辞方法方式的运用通常决定着广告词的艺术创意与实际效果。广告英语的修辞方法特性关键有如下所示几类。

(一) 形容(figure of speech)

形容能使广告语言生动形象,提高大家的抽象思维。如:

(1) the born leader. (天生的管理者)

此句暗示着商品天生居领导地位,当然是出色商品。

(2) what’s on your arm should be as beautiful as who’s on it. (带在你胳膊里的物品应当与你胳膊里的人一样美。)

(二) 拟人化(personification)

把物写出人,使之有活力、个性化和感情。如:

(2) time will tell. (时间会做证的。)

时长都是会出去做证,表明该商品坚固耐用,经得住时间的考验。
